Definitely 5 star worthy for the price. I mean this in the best way possible, you get what you pay for! Simple, clean, no smells, friendly staff, easy check in/out. nothing fancy but also nothing nasty. If you need somewhere to shower and sleep this was perfect !

Have stayed here in the past when it was a Super 8 so I was looking for it on my trip from OH to MN. They are currently doing some remodeling but my room was comfy and the price was right. The lobby is open and welcoming. The person at the desk was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend if you are passing thru central IL and need a bed for the night.

This place is a hidden gem. Very clean. Extremely quiet. Management is friendly and attentive. They apparently load/fill guests starting at opposite ends of the hotel (which is awesome). And $50 cheaper than the surrounding areas (even with 2 dogs). Everything worked in the room (including lamps). Power plug ins were easy to access/desktop area. It's a simple room but everything you need is there for a comfy overnight. There was no breakfast but the coffee was hot and fresh. The single/King room had plenty of room for the dogs to huff and puff without knocking anything over. This is honestly one of the best Super 8s I've ever stayed in!

Room was nice and roomy. Even the carpet wasn't gross. The hall smelled of cigarette smoke and Indian cooking, but our room was fine. And the AC/heating unit was great. Nice shower, too. But iit had tiny bath towels. And BEWARE if you expect BREAKFAST, unless you consider coffee and a teeny-tiny granola bar breakfast. Web description should be changed since the shutdown. Very stingy with breakfast.

Great employees. The rooms were adequate, but definitely had a little bit of smoker smell in the hallway and just a bit in our room. They were clean, dry and everything worked fine. If you stop here definitely take the time to check out the two local antique malls. One on each side of the interstate, one literally next door to the Super 8. If you're looking for good food at a great price, Woody's in town is an amazing place to eat.

I had to stay overnight in El Paso due to winter weather and white-out conditions on I-39. Room was clean, quiet, and warm at a reasonable price. When my vehicle would not start the next morning due to sub-zero temperatures, the owner of the hotel personally assisted me with jumpstarting my vehicle in the frigid conditions.

It was a nice place to stay. The gentleman at the desk was great! He took the time to show us the best place to park our truck and trailer. He reassured us of how safe it is due to police patrolling the area regularly. Besides our toilet not working properly, the rooms were clean. I didn't care much for the carpet either. It was stained and wasn't pleasant to look at. But all in all, I'd stay there again.

In the last ten years I have stayed here four times. I have never been disappointment: clean, welcoming, well maintained, just expect it. Front desk staff was efficient and cordial, getting me to my room was important. When traveling between Northern Wisconsin and St. Louis it is a good pit stop. Thank you Super 8 staff for your effort!
